UFC 102 Viewing Party at Big Wangs (Hollywood)

Legends MMA returns to the home of spicy wings and hot chicks for another UFC PPV event. Broadcast live from the lumberjack land of the Pacific Northwest, UFC 102 features one of the last viable "UFC vs. PRIDE dream match" combinations, in Randy "The Natural" Couture vs. Antonio "Minotauro" Nogueira.

While only a few years ago, this would be considered an impossibility, in just a few days, it becomes a reality.

Not to mention "The Dean of Mean" Keith Jardine, as he does battle with Thiago Silva, Chris "The Crippler" Leben against collegiate wrestling star Jake Rosholt, Nate "the Great" Marquardt vs. Damien Maia, and Brandon "The Truth" Vera against "The Polish Experiment" Krzysztof Soszynski.

Since Legends MMA and Big Wangs teamed up earlier this summer, the crowds for each PPV event has been awesome. As always, we've got some couches and tables reserved under the Legends MMA name. This is a great chance for members to sit back and kick it away from the gym, protected from Amir's elbow combination drills and Brady's Friday afternoon sparring sessions.

As always, people are welcome to bring friends, although seating is first come first serve, and our area does tend to fill up before the 7pm start time. You are encouraged to come early.

Beer specials will be in effect, and for those of you who don't need to make weight, I encourage you to try the Rochester-style wings and tater tots.

Valet parking ($6) is highly suggested, as street parking in that area is just on the left side of impossible.

As many of you know, the Legends MMA fight team has returned to the City of Sin for yet another night of squared circle MMA action. Tomorow night, August 22nd, at 7:00pm, Chris Brady, Takashi Munoz, and Eddie Jackson compete at the latest Tuff-N-Uff Amateur Fighting Championships. But now, whether you've joined us in Las Vegas or not, you can still watch the action LIVE ON INTERNET PPV!!!

Legends MMA fighters Chris Brady and Eddie Jackson are hellbent on getting back to their winning ways, while Takashi Munoz returns from a five-month hiatus for another victory.

Brady will take on Jimmy Jones (Xtreme Couture) for the Tuff-N-Uff 135 lb. title. This third meeting of Brady and Jones will be the rubber match, as both fighters claim victory over each other. Brady beat Jones by unanimous decision back in October 2009, while Jones bested Brady in April of this year in their second meeting.

Eddie Jackson takes on King Scott of Cobra Kai, while Takashi Munoz steps in against Dustin Chavalier (Striking Unlimited).

After the huge turnout last month for UFC 100, Legends MMA has once again reserved the couches and tables at Big Wangs for UFC 101, on Saturday night, August 8th, and everybody is welcome.

I can also confirm that the air conditioning in the bar area is working again, and everybody should be cool and comfortable for their dose of caged combat.

Lots of people are talking about the long-awaited meeting of Penn vs. Florian for the UFC lightweight championship, but also on the bill is Anderson Silva's second trip to light heavyweight. This will be Silva's toughest fight at 205, facing former champ Forrest Griffin.

UFC Lightweight Title: B.J. Penn (13-5-1) vs. Kenny Florian (12-3)

Light Heavyweight Challenge: Anderson Silva (24-4) vs. Forrest Griffin (18-5)

TUF 7 Winner makes his official UFC debut: Amir Sadollah (5-0) vs. Johny Hendricks (5-0)

Battle of Jiu-Jitsu Specialists: Ricardo Almeida (10-3) vs. Kendall Grove (12-5)
