Legends MMA returns to the home of spicy wings and hot chicks for another UFC PPV event. Broadcast live from the lumberjack land of the Pacific Northwest, UFC 102 features one of the last viable "UFC vs. PRIDE dream match" combinations, in Randy "The Natural" Couture vs. Antonio "Minotauro" Nogueira.
While only a few years ago, this would be considered an impossibility, in just a few days, it becomes a reality.
Not to mention "The Dean of Mean" Keith Jardine, as he does battle with Thiago Silva, Chris "The Crippler" Leben against collegiate wrestling star Jake Rosholt, Nate "the Great" Marquardt vs. Damien Maia, and Brandon "The Truth" Vera against "The Polish Experiment" Krzysztof Soszynski.
Since Legends MMA and Big Wangs teamed up earlier this summer, the crowds for each PPV event has been awesome. As always, we've got some couches and tables reserved under the Legends MMA name. This is a great chance for members to sit back and kick it away from the gym, protected from Amir's elbow combination drills and Brady's Friday afternoon sparring sessions.
As always, people are welcome to bring friends, although seating is first come first serve, and our area does tend to fill up before the 7pm start time. You are encouraged to come early.
Beer specials will be in effect, and for those of you who don't need to make weight, I encourage you to try the Rochester-style wings and tater tots.
Valet parking ($6) is highly suggested, as street parking in that area is just on the left side of impossible.
