Legends MMA’s Last Tuff-N-Uff for 2009

Legends MMA will be spending Thanksgiving holiday stuffing takedowns and roasting opponents, as the team’s notorious “Gang of Four” – Chris Brady, Eddie Jackson, Takashi Munoz, and Christian Palencia – have confirmed matches for the next Tuff-N-Uff event in Las Vegas, NV. The event is scheduled for November 27th at the Orleans Hotel & Casino.

Chris Brady faces Gor Mnatsakanyan (Filipino MMA) at 135 lbs. Mnatsakanyan is 4-0 this year in Tuff-N-Uff. Coming off his controversial championship bout in August against Jimmy Jones (Xtreme Couture), Brady is dead set on serving Mnatsakanyan his first MMA turkey.

Eddie Jackson faces Jesse Bowler (Filipino MMA) at 170 lbs. On paper, this bout follows the textbook striker-versus-grappler formula. Bowler boasts two first-round submission wins in recent Tuff-N-Uff action. Of course, he’ll have to tell that to Jackson’s heavy-hitting left and right hands.

Christian Palencia faces Rob Isenor (Striking Unlimited) at 155 lbs. Isenor is 2-1-0 in Tuff-N-Uff competition, recently winning by first round KO. Palencia makes his return after a seven-month layoff, feeling sharper and stronger than ever.

Takashi Munoz faces Sean Bryan (independent fighter) at 170 lbs. Bryan makes his Tuff-N-Uff debut, while Munoz looks to redeem himself after a decision loss back in August.

10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu’s Sean Bollinger is schedule to make his second Tuff-N-Uff appearance, taking on Alex Brooks (HFA) at 155 lbs. Bollinger won his last Tuff-N-Uff outing, in August, against Azamat Umarzoda (Throwdown Elite Training Center) with an armbar in the second round.

So if you've got nothing else planned for Thanksgiving, celebrate the holidays with the Legends family in Las Vegas. Be sure to ask around at the gym about who's planning on going, as a lot of members car pool and bunk together.
